From the cellar and tool storage on the ground floor to the kitchen, bedrooms, and the multi-functional "upper room," every corner of Casa Cristo tells a story of hard work and resilience.Among the notable features are the traditional slab sink, a secret drawer for hiding valuables, and a centuries-old baptismal gown that was passed down through generations. These details offer a poignant reminder of the family's values and the challenges they faced. The house was inhabited until 1947 when the last residents moved to France. In 1995, the Comú of Encamp (city hall) acquired the property and opened it as a museum in 2000.
