Opened in 1994, Caldea was designed by French architect Jean-Michel Ruols, known as the 'water architect,' who drew inspiration from the surrounding mountains and crystalline structures.The spa boasts over 44,849 square meters of thermal bathing and wellness facilities, divided into different zones to cater to various age groups and preferences. Thermoludic is the largest area, offering indoor and outdoor lagoons, Indo-Roman baths, saunas, and a panoramic lagoon with stunning views. Inúu is an adults-only space for ultimate tranquility, while Likids provides a dedicated spa experience for children aged 3-8. Origins offers exotic baths from around the world, including an Aztec bath and a grapefruit bath.Caldea's thermal waters are naturally hot, reaching nearly 70°C, and are rich in minerals, sulfides, and thermal plankton. These waters are known for their antiallergic, healing, and decongestant properties. With a capacity for hundreds of visitors, Caldea attracts around 400,000 people annually, making it one of Andorra's top attractions. The spa is open almost every day of the year, offering a unique and innovative approach to thermal leisure.
