    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Ax-les-Thermes train station, the town center is a short walk. Exit the station and walk straight ahead. The main street, Avenue Docteur Paul Salette, will lead you directly to the heart of town, where you'll find the Bassin des Ladres and other attractions. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

    Public Transport

    The 'Transport à la Demande' (TAD) service provides transport to the center of Ax-les-Thermes from surrounding areas on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The fare is €3 for a single trip and €5 for a round trip. Reservations are required the day before by calling 05.61.64.68.05 between 9 am and 3 pm. This service is useful if you are staying in a nearby village or hamlet.

    Taxi

    Taxis are available in Ax-les-Thermes. A short taxi ride from the train station to a destination in the town center will typically cost between €10 and €15. Taxi stands are located near the train station.

    Parking

    If arriving by car, several parking options are available. Parking du Couloubrou is free and located behind the Bains du Couloubret and the Casino. Paid parking is available at Place du Breilh. Expect to pay around €25 for 12 hours of parking in paid areas. Free parking for half an hour is available per day, but a ticket is still required.
