Walking
The most common approach is from Cortals d'Encamp. From there, follow the well-marked 'Camí de Brigal' (red marks) for approximately 2 hours, ascending 480 meters. The trail leads to the Ensagents River, which you'll follow to the refuge.
Public Transport
From Andorra la Vella, take the L2 bus towards Encamp. From Encamp, you can take the Funibus, a free bus service, around Encamp to the Funicamp gondola. From the top of Funicamp, you can hike to Refugi d'Ensagents. Bus L2 runs every 15-20 minutes on weekdays. A single bus fare within Encamp is approximately €2.
Taxi
From Encamp, a taxi to the starting point of the hiking trail (Cortals d'Encamp) will cost approximately €24-€29 and takes about 9 minutes. From there, follow the 'Camí de Brigal' trail on foot.
