Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of Ilha do Cabo, head towards the main road, Avenida 4 de Fevereiro. From here, walk south along the waterfront. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Rua do Sagrado Coração de Jesus. Turn right onto this street, and continue walking. You will soon see the Igreja da Nossa Senhora do Cabo on your left, just a short distance ahead.

• Bicycle

  For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ilha do Cabo. Start by cycling towards Avenida 4 de Fevereiro, then turn south along the waterfront. After about 1 km, turn right onto Rua do Sagrado Coração de Jesus. The church will be just ahead on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules for safety.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Igreja da Nossa Senhora do Cabo via public transport, you can take a local bus from any nearby bus stop in Ilha do Cabo. Look for buses heading towards Ingombota. Once on the bus, notify the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to Rua do Sagrado Coração de Jesus. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the church, which will be on your left. The bus fare is approximately 50 Kwanza.

• Taxi (Motorcycle or Bicycle Taxi)

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorcycle or bicycle taxi, which are common in Luanda. Simply flag down a driver and tell them you want to go to Igreja da Nossa Senhora do Cabo. This option should cost around 500 to 1,000 Kwanza, depending on the distance. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
