The viewpoint is right off the main road. Driving
From Luanda, take the EN100 highway south towards Belas. After approximately 40 km (25 miles), look for signs indicating Miradouro da Lua. Turn onto the access road, and follow it to the parking area near the viewpoint. Parking is available near the viewpoint. There may be a small parking fee.
Public Transport
From Luanda, take a bus or taxi to Belas. 'Candongueiros' (local minibuses) are a common and affordable option. From Belas, hire a local taxi to take you to Miradouro da Lua. Confirm the fare before departing, as prices may vary. Bus fare from Luanda to Belas is about 100-200 AKZ. Taxi from Belas to the viewpoint may cost between 500-1000 AKZ.
