The Hartmann Valley, in which the camp is located, features towering mountains, vast plains, and unique desert-adapted wildlife. The camp itself is designed to blend seamlessly with the environment, featuring eight elevated wood, thatch, and canvas chalets that offer stunning views of the Kunene River. The main area, called the 'Ozonganda,' provides a comfortable space for relaxation and dining, with an elegant African safari aesthetic. Serra Cafema's design is inspired by the Himba people, with the main area's structure reminiscent of a traditional Himba village. Serra Cafema offers a variety of activities that allow guests to explore the unique ecosystems of the region. These include guided nature walks, scenic drives, and boat trips on the Kunene River. Quad biking excursions provide a thrilling way to experience the vast landscapes. Cultural visits to local Himba communities offer insights into their traditional way of life.
