  If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Menongue, which is the closest major city to Cubango. From Menongue, take the EN105 road heading southeast. Continue on this road for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach the sign for Cubango. The road is mostly unpaved, so be prepared for possible rough patches. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations are sparse in this region.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus or a shared taxi (known as 'cuca') from Menongue to Cubango. These services usually depart from the main bus station in Menongue. The journey may take around 2-3 hours. Make sure to confirm the schedule as it can vary. The cost is typically around 2000 Kwanza for the ride. Be aware that these vehicles may not be very comfortable, and space can be limited.

• Walking/Local Transport

  Once you arrive in Cubango, local transport options such as motorcycles (commonly known as 'moto-taxis') are available for short distances. If you plan to explore the area further, walking is also a viable option, especially to reach the riverside where you can enjoy the scenic views.
