Adventure at Quiçama National Park Safari and Nature
Great Experience and Superior Guide
The experience of going to the park was excellent. First of all, the Guide, Vaz José, was excellent. One of the best I've had. He showed up an hour early to get our day started. His communication skills were superior. On our 2 Hour drive to the park, he gave me an excellent history lesson and put everything that I was seeing into context. He is a safe driver. I will definitely recommend him to my friends who might visit from the states. The landscape in the park was really breathtaking. There were two men from China, who kept remarking, "this place is so peaceful and calm. I want to live here." While we did not see any elephants, the drive was worth the experience. We did see a few animals roaming through the park, which made the experience unique and worthwhile.

Driver too fast - animals awesome
Loved the river boat ride and floating restaurant. "Safari" was more of a monster truck animal rally. Driver went super fast, we all got torn up by the acacia trees and then the loud brakes scared animals away. Resort site was beautiful and our overall trip guide was so accommodating! Would do it again if the Safari driver would go slower and be more mindful of the thorns slicing us up and allow more time to see and take pics of animals.
