Bus
From Uíge city center, head to the main bus terminal, known as Terminal Rodoviário de Uíge. There, look for buses heading towards Cacula. Confirm with the bus staff that the bus will pass near Parque Nacional do Quicama. The journey to Cacula should take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Cacula, ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Parque Nacional do Quicama, which is approximately 12 km away from the bus stop. You may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to cover the last stretch.
Motorbike Taxi
After reaching Cacula, you can find motorbike taxis (known as 'moto-taxis') near the bus terminal. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Inform the driver that you want to go to Parque Nacional do Quicama. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on road conditions. Enjoy the scenic views as you approach the national park.
Walking (if close enough)
