From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Meads Bay. The journey is approximately 20 minutes. Taxi fares are fixed and regulated by the government. A typical fare for two persons with two pieces of luggage from the airport to Meads Bay is approximately $26. Additional charges may include $5 for each extra passenger, $1 for each additional piece of baggage, and $4 for trips after 6 pm. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Ferry and Taxi
Many visitors arrive in Anguilla via ferry from St. Martin. Upon arrival at Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, taxis are readily available. The taxi ride to Meads Bay is about 10-15 minutes. A typical taxi fare from Blowing Point Ferry to Meads Bay is approximately $18 for two people with two pieces of luggage. Additional charges may apply for extra passengers ($5 per person), additional luggage ($1 per piece), and travel after 6 PM ($4 extra). The public ferry from Marigot, St. Martin costs $30 per person each way, plus departure tax. A taxi from Princess Juliana Airport to Marigot costs $20 for two people.

Driving
If you choose to rent a car, several rental agencies are available at the airport and around Anguilla. A temporary Anguillian driver's license costs $28 and is valid for three months. Driving is on the left-hand side of the road. From the airport, follow the main road west towards the West End. Look for signs directing you to Meads Bay. Free parking is available at a large parking lot at the eastern end of the beach. A smaller parking area near Malliouhana Resort charges a small fee.
