Taxi

From Blowing Point Ferry Terminal or Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport, taxis are readily available. Taxi fares are fixed and regulated by the government. A taxi from the ferry terminal to Cove Bay typically costs around $18 USD for two people with luggage, with additional charges for extra passengers or baggage. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Rental Car

Renting a car offers the most flexibility for exploring Anguilla. Several car rental companies operate at the airport and ferry terminal. Driving is on the left-hand side of the road. To rent a car, you'll need a valid driver's license and must purchase a temporary Anguillian driver's license for around $28 USD. From the airport, follow the main road west, then turn left towards The Cove. Parking is available near Cove Bay beach.

Ferry and Taxi

If arriving at Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) on St. Maarten/St. Martin, you can take a ferry to Anguilla. The public ferry departs from Marigot on the French side, costing $30 USD plus a $5 USD departure tax. A taxi from SXM airport to Marigot costs about $20 USD. Alternatively, private ferries operate from the Dutch side, with fares starting around $65 USD. From Anguilla's Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, take a taxi to Cove Bay (approximately $18 USD).

Today, Cove Bay remains a refreshingly undeveloped beach, perfect for whiling away an afternoon in tranquility.
