Walking
From the center of Sandy Ground village, the beach is easily accessible on foot. Simply head towards the waterfront; the beach is directly adjacent to the main road through the village. Many restaurants and bars are located along the beach, making it a short walk from anywhere in the village center. No costs are associated with accessing the beach itself.
Public Transport
From Crocus Hill, the main market area, you can catch a local bus or taxi heading towards Sandy Ground. The bus fare is approximately $2-3 USD, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Sandy Ground Beach, and they will drop you off near the beach entrance. Taxis are also readily available, but the cost will be higher. There are no additional fees for accessing the beach.
Taxi
Taxis are a readily available mode of transport to Sandy Ground Beach from various points on Anguilla. From the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, a taxi ride to Sandy Ground will cost approximately $20 for two people. Additional passengers may incur a charge of $5 per person. From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi to Sandy Ground will also cost around $20. Be aware that there may be a $4 surcharge for trips between 6 pm and midnight, and a $10 surcharge for trips between midnight and 6 am.
