Getting There

  • Taxi

    From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Forest Bay. Taxis are readily available at the airport. The ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. A typical fare for two persons with two pieces of luggage from the airport is approximately $26. Additional passengers are $5 each, and extra baggage is $1 per piece. Note that there is an additional $4 charge for trips after 6 pm and a $10 charge for trips between midnight and 6 am.

  • Rental Car

    If you prefer to drive, rental cars are available at the airport. Driving in Anguilla is on the left-hand side of the road. A temporary Anguillian driver's license costs $28 and can be purchased through the rental company. From the airport, follow the main road towards The Valley, then take the turnoff towards The Forest. Follow signs for Forest Bay. Note that Waze and other mobile navigation apps work well in Anguilla. Parking near the beach is free.
