From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Meads Bay Beach. The ride is approximately 20 minutes. A typical fare for two people with luggage is around $26 USD. Additional passengers may incur a charge of $5 USD each, and trips after 6 PM may have an additional $4 USD charge. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey.
Walking
If you are in West End Village, you can walk to Meads Bay Beach. Head towards the beach area and follow the path to the coastline. Continue walking along the shoreline northwest for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Meads Bay Beach. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
While there are no direct public transport routes to Meads Bay Beach, you can take a local bus or minivan from West End Village towards the main road. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Meads Bay Beach. From there, it will be a short walk of about 5-10 minutes toward the beach. Bus/Minivan fare is approximately $3 USD.
