Taxi
Taxis are readily available from Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA) or the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal. A taxi ride from the airport to Meads Bay typically costs around $26 for two people. From the ferry terminal, expect to pay around $18 for two. Additional passengers may incur a charge of $5 per person, and extra luggage beyond two pieces may cost $1 per item. Note that fares increase by $4 for trips between 6 PM and midnight, and by $10 between midnight and 6 AM. Confirm the rate with the driver before starting your journey, as fares are fixed but it's always good to double check.
Rental Car
Renting a car offers flexibility in exploring Anguilla, including Meads Bay. Several car rental agencies operate on the island, some offering airport or ferry terminal pickup. A temporary Anguillian driver's license costs $28 and is valid for three months. Driving is on the left. From the airport, follow the main road west; Meads Bay is well-signposted. Free parking is available at a large lot on the eastern end of the beach. A smaller parking area near Malliouhana Resort charges a small fee.
