From the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, where ferries arrive from St. Maarten, taxis are the most common way to reach Shoal Bay. The taxi ride is approximately 25-30 minutes. The fixed rate for a taxi from Blowing Point to Shoal Bay is around $30 for two people. Additional charges apply for extra passengers, luggage, and nighttime travel. Alternatively, buses head towards East End, from which you can walk 5-10 minutes to the beach. Bus fare is about $2-$3.

Once you're on Shoal Bay, walking along the beach is the best way to explore its different sections. From the main parking area, you can walk east towards the quieter end of the beach or west towards the livelier beach bars and restaurants. The entire stretch of Shoal Bay is about two miles long, making for a pleasant stroll.
