    From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi is the most direct way to reach Captains Bay. Taxis are readily available at the airport. The journey takes approximately 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the fare with the driver before departing; a typical fare to the East End area, where Captains Bay is located, ranges from $26 to $35 USD for two people. Additional passengers are typically charged $5 USD each. Note that there may be an extra charge of $4 USD for trips after 6 PM.

    If driving from The Valley, take the Long Road to East End. Continue for about 1 mile until you see a sign for Palm Grove Restaurant. Follow the dirt road east towards the beach. Be aware that the road to Captains Bay is unpaved and can be rough, so an SUV is recommended. There is no designated parking area, so find a safe spot on the roadside near the beach entrance. Car rentals are available at the airport, and a temporary Anguillian driver's license can be obtained for a small fee. Note that driving is on the left-hand side of the road.
