From the center of North Hill Village, walk south on the main road. Continue for about 0.5 miles until the intersection with the road to Cauls Bottom. Turn left onto the Cauls Bottom road and continue for 0.3 miles. A small sign indicates the entrance to Cauls Pond, a short walk down a path from the road. There is no admission fee.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Anguilla. Arrange for a taxi from your location to Cauls Pond in Cauls Bottom. Taxi fares are fixed and not metered. A ride from Blowing Point Ferry to the area of Twin Palms will cost around $18 USD for two people. As the second-largest pond on the Anguilla mainland, this oblong-shaped brackish lagoon is located in the Sandy Hill district, near the southeastern coast. The pond lies below sea level and has a relatively large catchment area.The area is an Important Bird Area (IBA), supporting a breeding colony of least terns, as well as populations of brown pelicans, laughing gulls, green-throated caribs, Caribbean elaenias, pearly-eyed thrashers, and Lesser Antillean bullfinches. Birdwatching enthusiasts will appreciate the diverse avian life that inhabits the area.The pond's substrate is mostly limestone, with marl at its western end, and features a small mudflat island. The vegetation around the pond consists of cacti and buttonwood mangroves, with other trees and shrubs growing behind them. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls, quiet contemplation, and picnics amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant flora.Historically, the area around Cauls Pond and Bad Cox Pond was believed to be where the first settlers occupied the island. Although a desalination plant was constructed by the Government of Anguilla, it was later closed due to equipment failure.
