    From Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Meads Bay Beach. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal. The ride to Meads Bay typically takes around 20 minutes. Taxi fares are fixed and regulated by the government, with rates posted at the airport. A typical fare for two persons with two pieces of luggage from the airport to the Meads Bay area is approximately $26. Additional charges may include $5 for each extra passenger, $1 for each additional piece of baggage, and $4 for trips after 6 pm. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Some taxi drivers also offer island tours.

    Walking

    If you are already staying in Meads Bay, reaching the beach is easily accessible by foot. From accommodations in the central area of Meads Bay, head towards the shoreline. The beach is generally a short walk, approximately 500 meters or about 10 minutes from most locations. Follow the main road south until you see a path leading to Meads Bay Beach on your left.

    Car

    If driving from Shoal Bay, head southwest on the main road (The Valley Road). Continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the junction with Long Bay Road. Turn right onto Long Bay Road and continue straight. After about 5 minutes, you will see signs for Meads Bay Beach. Follow the signs, and you will find parking available near the beach. There is a large, free parking lot at the eastern end of the beach. A smaller parking area near Malliouhana Resort may charge a small fee, usually around $5.
