Car

From English Harbour, drive southeast on Dockyard Drive, continuing onto Clarence House Avenue. Turn left onto English Harbour Road and follow it to Galleon Beach. Parking is available, but spaces are limited. Expect a short, steep drive down to the beach.

Public Transport

From St. John's, take the bus towards English Harbour (Line 17). The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs $2. From the English Harbour bus stop, it's a short walk to Galleon Beach.

Taxi

From St. John's, a taxi to Galleon Beach will cost approximately $25-$45 and take around 25 minutes. From English Harbour, a taxi should be significantly less. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

Water Taxi

Water taxis are available from Nelson's Dockyard to Galleon Beach. Negotiate the fare before boarding. The short trip offers a unique perspective of the coastline.
