Walking
From Falmouth or English Harbour, the most direct approach to Monk's Hill is by foot. The hike begins near Cobbs Cross Primary School, north of English Harbour. Follow the road behind the school, staying left at forks until it turns into a dirt/stone road – this marks the official start of the trail. The moderately steep, unshaded climb to the summit takes approximately 30-45 minutes, offering scenic views along the way. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water.
Public Transport
Local taxis are readily available from Codrington or other locations on Antigua. A taxi ride to the base of Monk's Hill typically costs around 25-30 EC dollars (approximately 10-12 USD). Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off at the base of Monk's Hill, where you can begin the hike to the peak.
