    From St. John's, take a bus heading towards Bethesda. The bus will drop you off in Bethesda, from where you can walk or take a short taxi ride to the sanctuary. The bus fare is approximately EC$3.00. From the bus stop in Bethesda, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the sanctuary.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available from St. John's or English Harbour. A taxi ride from St. John's to the Donkey Sanctuary will cost approximately EC$45-60 and takes about 30-40 minutes. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey. The final stretch of road to the sanctuary is a gravel/dirt path.

  • Driving

    From St. John's, follow the signs towards the eastern side of the island. Once you reach Bethesda, look for signs directing you to the Donkey Sanctuary. Be aware that the final part of the road is unpaved. Parking is available at the sanctuary.
