Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Bolands, head south on the main road (Sir George Walter Highway). Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn right onto Dockyard Drive. Follow Dockyard Drive for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the entrance to Nelson's Dockyard on your left. The dockyard is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for the signs along the way.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can take the same route as walking. Start from the Bolands area and ride south on Sir George Walter Highway. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Dockyard Drive. Cycling will allow you to reach Nelson's Dockyard in approximately 15 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to follow the road signs directing you to the dockyard.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Bolands, you can catch a local bus heading towards English Harbour. Look for a bus stop nearby and board a bus that is marked for English Harbour. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Nelson's Dockyard, or listen for the stop. Once you get off, you'll need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the dockyard, which is clearly marked.
