Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Codrington, near the main market area. Head southwest towards the main road, and look for the sign for the Antigua & Barbuda Institute of Continuing Education. Turn left onto the main road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Road to English Harbour. At this junction, you will see signs directing you towards Nelson's Dockyard. Continue straight and follow the signs through the scenic route, which will take you past beautiful coastal views. After approximately 2 miles, you will arrive at Dockyard Drive. Nelson's Dockyard will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Codrington. Start at the center of Codrington and head southwest towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and cycle straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Road to English Harbour. Follow the signs towards Nelson's Dockyard, cycling straight ahead. The ride will take you through scenic landscapes and coastal views. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Dockyard Drive, and you will find Nelson's Dockyard on your left.

    Find the nearest bus stop in Codrington. Board a bus heading towards English Harbour. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Nelson's Dockyard. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance along Dockyard Drive to reach the entrance of Nelson's Dockyard.
