If you are staying in the main area of English Harbour, start at Nelson's Dockyard. Head towards the main road, Dockyard Drive. Turn left onto Dockyard Drive and walk along the road, enjoying the beautiful views of the harbor. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Shirley Heights Road. Turn right onto Shirley Heights Road, which is a steep climb. Follow Shirley Heights Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Shirley Heights Lookout. The lookout is on your left and is marked by signage.

If you are near the Antigua Yacht Club, start by walking towards the main entrance of the yacht club. From there, take Dockyard Drive heading south. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the intersection with Shirley Heights Road, turn left. The road will begin to ascend. Keep walking for about another kilometer, and you will find Shirley Heights Lookout on your left.
