Walking
From the center of Falmouth, head west on Dockyard Drive. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the road leading to the Nelson's Dockyard. Walk past the entrance of Nelson's Dockyard and continue straight. After approximately 0.5 miles, look for signs directing you towards Deep Bay Beach. Follow the signs, and you will soon reach the beach area. Fort Barrington is located on the hills overlooking Deep Bay Beach. You can hike up the path leading to the fort, which is a short but steep walk offering beautiful views of the bay.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Falmouth Harbour area and ride along Dockyard Drive heading west. After about a mile, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit toward Nelson's Dockyard. Continue straight, passing the entrance to the Dockyard, and keep an eye out for signs to Deep Bay Beach. Once you arrive at Deep Bay, park your bike and hike up to Fort Barrington, which is situated on the hillside, providing a stunning panoramic view.
