Getting There

• Subway

  Take Line D (the green line) of the Buenos Aires Subway from any station in the direction of Catedral. If you are starting from a station like Plaza Italia or Palermo, follow the signs to the nearest Line D entrance. Disembark at the '9 de Julio' station, which is the closest to the monument. Once you exit the station, head towards Avenida 9 de Julio. The Monumento a las Cataratas del Iguazú will be directly in front of you, just a short walk across the avenue.

• Bus

  You can take several bus lines that stop near the Monumento a las Cataratas del Iguazú. Lines 9, 10, 29, 39, 50, and 70 all have stops along Avenida 9 de Julio. Check the nearest bus stop to your location and wait for one of these buses. Once you arrive at a stop on Avenida 9 de Julio, look for the monument which is easily visible from the road.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the vicinity of Avenida 9 de Julio, you can simply walk to the Monumento a las Cataratas del Iguazú. Locate Avenida 9 de Julio and head towards the intersection with Avenida de Mayo. The monument is located on the western side of Avenida 9 de Julio, directly across from the iconic Obelisco. Enjoy the walk and the vibrant atmosphere of the area.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can easily hail a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber or Cabify to reach the Monumento a las Cataratas del Iguazú. Simply enter 'Av. 9 de Julio, C1072 Cdad. Autónoma de Buenos Aires' as your destination in the app. The driver will take you directly to the monument, which is a well-known landmark in the city.
