Plaza Lavalle is easily accessible on foot from many points in downtown Buenos Aires. From the Obelisco, walk northwest along Avenida Corrientes, then turn left onto Calle Libertad. The plaza will be on your left. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. No costs involved.

Several bus lines stop near Plaza Lavalle. You can take the Subte (subway) to the Tribunales station on Line D, which is directly adjacent to the plaza. A single ride on the Subte costs AR$757 for registered SUBE users. You will need a SUBE card to pay for your fare.
