The Teatro Colón, located in the heart of Buenos Aires, is considered one of the world's finest opera houses, rivaling La Scala in Milan and the Opera Garnier in Paris.Originally, the Teatro Colón was located in front of Plaza de Mayo from 1857 to 1888.
