If you are traveling by car, start by heading southeast on Ruta 40 from Cerro Tronador towards San Carlos de Bariloche. Continue for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the junction with Cto. Chico. Turn left onto Cto. Chico and follow the road for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Puente Romano as you approach. The bridge is located near the edge of the Llao Llao Municipal Park, and there is parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Puente Romano using public transportation, take a bus from Cerro Tronador to San Carlos de Bariloche. The buses run regularly, and you can catch one at the main bus station in Cerro Tronador. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and typically costs around 200 ARS. Once in Bariloche, transfer to a local bus heading towards Llao Llao. Look for buses that stop at Cto. Chico. The fare for the local bus is about 50 ARS. Get off at the stop nearest to Puente Romano, and you will find signs directing you to the bridge.

Combination of Car and Hiking
If you prefer to combine driving and hiking, drive from Cerro Tronador to the parking area at Llao Llao Municipal Park. There are several trails in the park, and from the parking area, you can hike a short distance to reach Puente Romano. The hike is relatively easy and takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water. The parking fee is approximately 100 ARS.
