Riccitelli Wines, established in 2009 by Matías Riccitelli, is a boutique winery nestled in Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, at 1,100 meters above sea level. Matías, son of renowned Argentine winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, blends tradition with innovation to create expressive, terroir-driven wines. The winery manages 20 hectares of old, ungrafted vineyards, some dating back to 1927, and collaborates with small growers in the Uco Valley.Riccitelli Wines offers visitors a unique and memorable experience. The winery's architecture is innovative, featuring a bistro built from containers set among the vineyards. Guided tours provide insights into the winemaking process, from grape harvesting to fermentation, and conclude with tastings designed to reveal the essence of Riccitelli wines. The winery specializes in Malbec, the flagship wine of the region, and also produces wines from Semillon, Cabernet Franc, and other varietals.Riccitelli Bistró offers a culinary experience that complements the wines, with dishes made from produce from its own organic gardens.
