Public Transport
From Mendoza city, take a bus from the Terminal del Sol (Mendoza's main bus terminal) to Potrerillos. Several bus companies like Cata Internacional and Andesmar operate this route. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Potrerillos, you can hire a taxi or rent a bicycle to reach Sendero Cerro Cocodrilo, which is approximately 10 km away on RP89. Taxi fares range from ARS 500-1000. Bus fare is approximately ARS 300-500.
Car
If driving from Mendoza city, take Route 7 west towards Potrerillos. After about 40 km, take the exit toward RP89, which leads directly to Sendero Cerro Cocodrilo. The journey takes around 1 hour. There is no entrance fee, but parking may have a small fee. Parking is limited, especially during peak season.
Walking
From the center of Potrerillos (Plaza and Civic Center), the trailhead is only 350 meters away. Walk along a dirt road perpendicular to Avenida Los Cóndores, following signs to the trail. This is a short and easy walk to the base of Cerro Cocodrilo.
