Bodega Krontiras represents a passionate fusion of Greek tradition and Argentine wine culture. Founded in 2004 by Constantino Krontiras, a Greek wine enthusiast, and his Argentine wife Silvina, the winery emerged from their shared vision of creating exceptional natural wines while honoring environmental stewardship. The couple's journey began when they fell in love with Mendoza's landscape, which reminded them of their native Greece, inspiring them to invest in vineyards that would become a legacy for their descendants.

Organic and Biodynamic Excellence

Krontiras holds certification as both an organic and biodynamic winery, pioneering Argentina's first natural Malbec. The vineyard practices prioritize soil health and biodiversity, eliminating chemical fertilizers in favor of sustainable agriculture methods. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing nature to guide fermentation and aging processes while maintaining absolute traceability from vine to bottle. Sacred Geometry Architecture

The winery's architecture stands as a testament to innovative sustainability design. Built on principles of sacred geometry—incorporating the golden ratio φ (1.618) and π (3.14)—the bodega creates an extraordinary environment that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding vineyard landscape. Natural insulation materials, including straw, minimize energy consumption while maximizing thermal efficiency. Production Capabilities and Winemaking

With a production capacity of 400,000 liters, Krontiras employs gravity-fed grape reception and double, cluster, and individual grape selection methods. The facility features stainless steel tanks ranging from 2 to 7.5 hectoliters and oak barrels of 225 and 500 liters, allowing precise control over fermentation and aging. The enological team, guided by expert knowledge of natural wine production, creates wines that express the distinctive character of Mendoza's terroir while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Bodega Krontiras welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering comprehensive experiences including guided tours, wine tastings, gastronomic pairings, and special events.
