Walking
From the Pudeto sector, where the catamaran from Paine Grande docks, follow the clearly marked trails along the southern shore of Lake Pehoé. The trails offer stunning views of the lake and the Cuernos del Paine. The walk to various viewpoints can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the chosen trail. No costs are associated with walking the trails.
Public Transport
Most visitors arrive at Lake Pehoé via bus to Pudeto, followed by the catamaran across the lake to Paine Grande. From Puerto Natales, buses to Pudeto cost approximately CLP 8,000 - CLP 12,000 per person each way. The catamaran from Pudeto to Paine Grande costs around CLP 25,000 - CLP 30,000 per person each way. This is the most common access point for hikers embarking on the W Trek or exploring the French Valley.
