Public Transport

To reach Puerto Iguazú from the Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR), the most economical option is the bus. The bus 'Bus a la Ciudad' operated by Four Tourist, offers shared transfers from the airport to Puerto Iguazu. Upon arrival, you can book tickets at the counter near Domestic Arrivals. The bus leaves as soon as the seats are filled. The journey time depends on the number of passengers and the destinations, allow 30 to 60 minutes for a single journey. The price is 1,300 ARS per person including luggage and tickets can be bought at the airport, online via the official website and through WhatsApp. Alternatively, Rio Uruguay operates a bus between the airport and the main bus terminal in Puerto Iguazu. The bus stop is located in front of the arrivals terminal, and the buses run every 10 minutes. The journey takes about 45 minutes. A single journey costs 400 ARS and tickets can be bought from an employee of the bus.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available from Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR) to Puerto Iguazú. The taxi kiosk is located at the airport. A taxi to Puerto Iguazú town center typically costs around 18,000 ARS. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
