A round-trip transfer typically costs between AR$ 8,000 and AR$ 12,000 per person, depending on the company and season. Note that there are no public buses that directly service the reserve. Taxis and remis services are also available in El Chaltén, but they may be more expensive than pre-booked transfers. Consider sharing a transfer with other travelers to reduce costs.

If you have a rental car, you can drive to Estancia Los Huemules from El Chaltén via Provincial Route 41. The drive is approximately 17 km (11 miles) and takes around 40 minutes.
