Plaza Uruguaya is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from many points in downtown Asunción. From the National Pantheon of the Heroes, walk approximately 5 blocks east along Palma Street, then turn left onto 25 de Mayo. The plaza will be on your right. No costs are involved.

Several bus lines serve Plaza Uruguaya. From the Asunción bus terminal, take bus routes 12-4, 12-43, 19, or 23-24. The bus fare is approximately 3,400-3,600 Paraguayan Guaraníes. Look for buses heading towards the city center, marked with 'Asunción Centro'. Disembark at the nearest stop to Avenida 25 de Mayo. From there, walk towards the intersection with Estrella street. Plaza Uruguaya will be visible ahead. Note that you will need a Jaha or Mas card to pay for the bus.
