Getting There

Car
From Iguazu National Park, head south on Avenida das Cataratas towards the city of Foz do Iguaçu. Continue for about 14 km until you reach the junction with BR-277. Merge onto BR-277 and continue for approximately 13 km. Take the exit toward Avenida José de Alencar and turn left onto the avenue. Follow the signs for Itaipu Dam and continue for about 6 km until you reach the entrance. Note that there is a parking fee of around 20 BRL (approximately 4 USD) payable at the entrance.
