Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Driving
From San Martín de los Andes, take Provincial Route 48 north for approximately 30 kilometers. The road is mostly gravel (ripio) and follows the northern bank of Lake Lácar. After about 20 km you will find the park ranger Yuco Station. Continue until you reach Yuco Beach. Parking is available, but it fills up quickly in summer. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding.
Public Transport
While public transport options directly to Yuco Beach are limited, you can take a bus towards Hua Hum and get off near the entrance to the Yuco area. From there, it's a walk to the beach. Check with local bus companies in San Martín de los Andes for schedules and availability.
