Car
From Los Andes, head northeast on Ruta 7 (also known as the Pan-American Highway) towards the Argentina-Chile border. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of San Martín de los Andes. Upon entering the town, follow the signs to Lago Lácar, which will lead you to Avenida San Martín. Continue on Avenida San Martín until you reach the intersection with Avenida de los Pioneros. Turn left onto Avenida de los Pioneros and follow the signs to Laguna Rosales. The drive should take approximately 45 minutes. Parking is available near the lagoon.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Los Andes to San Martín de los Andes. The bus terminal in Los Andes is located near the center of town. Check the schedule for departures, which generally run every 2-3 hours. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the fare is approximately ARS 400. Once you arrive at the San Martín de los Andes bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Laguna Rosales. Taxis are available at the terminal, and the ride to the lagoon will cost around ARS 600. Alternatively, you can catch a local bus that goes towards Lago Lácar and get off at the designated stop for Laguna Rosales.
