Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car within Los Glaciares National Park, head towards the town of El Calafate. Once in El Calafate, navigate to Av. del Libertador 1215. This is where Patagonia Extrema is located. The drive from the park entrances to El Calafate takes about 1 hour, depending on your starting point. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited services within the park.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Patagonia Extrema using public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations within Los Glaciares National Park to El Calafate. The most common route is from the bus terminal at El Chaltén to El Calafate. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once in El Calafate, you can either walk or take a taxi to Av. del Libertador 1215 to reach Patagonia Extrema.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Los Glaciares National Park to El Calafate. The fare may vary based on your starting point, but expect to pay around ARS 2000-4000. Once you arrive in El Calafate, tell the driver to take you to Av. del Libertador 1215, which is the location of Patagonia Extrema.

• Walking

  If you are already in El Calafate and prefer to walk, head towards Av. del Libertador. Patagonia Extrema is located at 1215 on this avenue. Depending on where you are in the town, it may take you 15-30 minutes to walk there. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for the weather.
