Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Posadas, take Route 12 towards the northwest, following the signs for the International Bridge to Paraguay. Cross the bridge and continue on Route 12 until you reach the junction with Route 105. Take Route 105 towards San Ignacio. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Route 14. Turn left onto Route 14 and head towards the town of Gobernador Roca. Once in Gobernador Roca, follow the signs to Route 15 and continue northwest until you reach the border with Brazil. After crossing into Brazil, continue on BR-386 until you reach the exit for Turvo State Park. Follow the signs to Salto do Yucumã, arriving at the park entrance. Note that there may be tolls along the way, so keep some cash handy.

    From Posadas, take a bus to the city of Santo Tomé. Buses run frequently, and you can purchase tickets at the local bus terminal.
