Discover more about Punto panorámico

Punto Panorámico, aptly named, delivers one of the most rewarding panoramic vistas in Nahuel Huapi National Park. Situated along the famed Circuito Chico, this viewpoint presents an unforgettable tableau of Lake Nahuel Huapi, framed by the majestic Andes Mountains. The vibrant blues of the lake contrast with the surrounding forests, creating a picturesque scene ideal for photographers and those seeking serenity. In the 1950s, tour operators recognized the spot's potential, making it a 'technical' stop for visitors to capture the stunning scenery. Today, a modern viewing deck at 947 meters above sea level enhances the experience, complete with lighting and seating. From this elevated perch, the immensity of Lake Moreno unfolds, with the Llao Llao Peninsula and its iconic hotel providing a stunning backdrop. In the distance, the vastness of Lake Nahuel Huapi stretches towards the horizon. Nahuel Huapi National Park itself is a treasure trove of natural beauty. Established in 1934, it is Argentina's oldest national park, sprawling over 700,000 hectares across the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén. Within its borders lie glacial lakes, mountains, forests, and steppes, offering diverse ecosystems to explore. The park is a haven for outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, sailing, and climbing.
