Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near the Tigre riverfront, walking to the Museo de Arte de Tigre is a pleasant option. Head towards Av. Victorica and follow the riverbank. The museum is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main Tigre port area. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

• Public Transport

  To reach the Museo de Arte de Tigre by bus, look for bus lines that head towards Av. Victorica. Lines such as the 60 or 721 can take you close to the museum. Get off and walk a short distance to Av. Victorica 972. A Sube card is needed for public transport; the cost is around 100 pesos. The basic bus fare is approximately 30 cents. Alternatively, take the train from Retiro station in Buenos Aires to Tigre station. From Tigre station, you can walk (20 minutes along the riverfront) or take a short taxi ride to the museum. The train costs around 100 pesos per person for a return trip.

• Taxi/Ride-share

  You can take a taxi or ride-share service like Uber to the Museo de Arte de Tigre. Simply enter 'Museo de Arte de Tigre, Av. Victorica 972' as your destination. The fare will depend on your starting location but is generally a convenient option if you prefer not to walk or navigate public transport.

  If driving, head towards Av. Victorica from your location in Tigre. Follow the local traffic signs to Av. Victorica 972. Parking is available nearby, but check for any parking fees. Driving from Buenos Aires to Tigre takes about 40 minutes via the Panamericana Highway. Take the junction to Tigre when you reach San Isidro. Note that unavoidable tolls on the highway can cost between $3,331–4,811 ARS.
