Recent fare hikes have set the minimum bus fare at AR$270 and the minimum train fare at AR$130. Subway fares for registered SUBE users are AR$757. Walking
Plaza de Mayo is located in the Monserrat neighborhood, within the Microcentro financial district, making it easily walkable from many nearby attractions. From the Obelisco, walk east along Avenida Roque Sáenz Peña or Avenida de Mayo for approximately 15 minutes to reach the Plaza. From Casa Rosada, simply walk across the plaza.
Taxi/Ride-sharing
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available in Buenos Aires. A short taxi ride from a nearby location, such as San Telmo, to Plaza de Mayo typically costs between ARS 1,500 and ARS 3,000, depending on traffic and time of day. Be sure the driver uses a meter or agree on a fare beforehand.
