Lanín National Park, established in 1937, protects a significant portion of the Andean-Patagonian forest in Argentina. Spanning over 412,000 hectares, the park's diverse ecosystems range from forests of lenga, araucaria (monkey puzzle trees), and southern beech to pristine lakes and rugged mountains.
