From the center of Purmamarca, Cerro El Porito is easily accessible on foot. Head west from the main square, Plaza 9 de Julio, towards Calle Florida. You'll see the mountain and the path leading to the Mirador. The walk to the entrance takes about 10-15 minutes. Entrance fee to access the viewpoint is approximately 100-150 ARS.

If arriving by bus in Purmamarca, walk to the main square. From there, local taxis or *colectivos* (shared vans) can take you closer to Cerro El Porito. Ask for a ride to 'Cerro El Porito' or 'Mirador del cerro El Porito.' The fare is around 100-150 Argentine Pesos per person. From the drop-off point, follow the marked path for about 20-30 minutes to reach the viewpoint.

From the center of Purmamarca, head south on Route 9 (Ruta Nacional 9) towards the exit of the town. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Cerro El Porito on the right. Turn onto the dirt road that leads to the viewpoint. The road is unpaved but generally accessible for standard vehicles. Park in the designated area and follow the marked trail leading up to the viewing point, which takes about 20-30 minutes of hiking. Parking is available, but it's advisable to arrive early, especially during peak season. To avoid paying for street parking by the hour, it is advisable to park a bit further away from the center.
