Car
From the city of Salta, take Route 68 south towards Cafayate. The drive is approximately 190 kilometers and takes around 3 hours. Once you reach Cafayate, continue on Route 40 for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Cueva del Suri, which is located off a side road. The road to the cave may be unpaved, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.
Public Transportation
From Salta, take a bus to Cafayate. Buses depart from the main terminal in Salta and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Cafayate, you can either hire a taxi or take a local bus towards Cueva del Suri. Taxis are available at the bus terminal and can take you directly to the cave, which is about 10 kilometers away. Expect to pay around ARS 1000 for the taxi ride.
Walking
If you are staying in Cafayate and prefer walking, you can hike to Cueva del Suri from the town. It is about a 10-kilometer walk, which will take approximately 2-3 hours.
