If you are driving from Salta City, take Route 68 south towards Cafayate. After approximately 30 km, look for the turnoff towards Route 33. Follow Route 33 for about 20 km until you reach the junction with Route 40. Turn right onto Route 40 and continue for about 30 km. Look for signs indicating Valle Encantado, and follow the local roads leading to the site. Make sure to have a map or GPS, as some roads may not be well marked.

From Salta City, you can take a bus to Cafayate. Buses leave from the main terminal in Salta. The ride will take around 3 to 4 hours, costing approximately ARS 800 to ARS 1200 (prices may vary). Once in Cafayate, you can hire a taxi or a local tour service to take you to Valle Encantado, which is about 30 km away. Make sure to negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
